My Sister's Keeper

On saturday, my sister Ilse, mum and I watched the movie 'My Sister's Keeper'. Now i struggled to finish reading this book. There was just too many stories in this book, it's Anna's point of view, which i understand. The story is essentially about her. But then you get the mom's point of view, the mom's sister, anna's dad, anna's brother and sister, the judge and her sister, and the lawyer. I think the only characters thought that weren't expressed was Judge the dog. I felt very Schizophrenic cos there just too many voices in my head. Well back to the movie, same stuff. So many voices!! AND WAY TOO SAD. when we left the cinema, it looked like we had just been at a funeral. everybody all puffy eyed and all. Nee man!!! I was so emotionally drained after that movie i sommer went to sleep.

But none the less, for me the movie was about sisters and brothers I guess (but willy-john did not go with so he cannot be included in this equation). Ilse and I live together and we have a friendship that is priceless. There are no words to describe our bond. We're actually very different but just being sisters have made is best friends. Watching the movie just made me realise how much i need my sister in my life and that i would do anything for her (except maybe approve of rash overseas trips). I have taken care of Ilse all my life, looked out for her, bullied the children in her class who where rude to her because her hair wasn't at straight as their's ( yes i went there ), covered up for her and of course Ilse's been my biggest fan as long as i can remember. No-one can say anything bad about Ilse's bad sister. Ilse blindly believes in me and though scary, it has encouraged me to go for many thins, like doing my MBA

I am my sister's keeper and she is mine. Thank you God for this most precious Gift.
